Education:
Dr. Yazdany completed her MPH at Harvard University (1998) and medical school at UCLA (2000). She was an intern and resident at UCSF (2000-2003) and was then a Rheumatology Clinical Fellow at UCSF (2003-2006).
Research:
Dr. Yazdany’s primary research interest involves investigating factors associated with health care disparities in systemic lupus erythematosus, particularly as they relate to the quality of medical care received by this patient population. She is currently working with other investigators at the Institute for Health Policy Studies at UCSF in following a large cohort of patients with SLE.
